Your New Role: 
  
In this role, based at Head Office you will be responsible for managing a skilled team of Watchmakers, Technicians and Controllers ensuring the seamless operation of the service and repair process. You will be a key figure in upholding the brand’s commitment to quality, precision and customer satisfaction, driving performance and fostering an environment of continuous improvement. The Day to Day: 
  • Lead and mentor a team of Watchmakers, Technicians and Quality Controllers; ensuring optimal performance and career development.
  • Allocate and prioritise workloads to ensure timely repair turnarounds while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Oversee the quality control process, conduct final checks on completed work and support the team with technical challenges.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal teams and external clients; addressing technical inquiries and providing solutions.
  • Manage day-to-day workshop operations including: inventory management, scheduling and procurement.
  • Organise training programs and performance reviews to enhance skills, improve productivity and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Prepare reports on repair timelines, productivity and quality ensuring compliance with relevant policies and health and safety regulations.
Experience Checklist: 
  • Proven experience in managing a workshop or service center within the luxury industry is essential (Timepiece experience is a big plus).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and quartz watches with a passion for horology; formal watchmaking qualification is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and develop teams while achieving operational goals.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Proficient in workshop management systems, inventory control, reporting software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
