Your New Role: 

As the Accounts Payable & Receivable Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team by managing financial transactions, assisting with lease administration, and ensuring accurate reporting. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in accounts and property finance systems who is looking to develop their career in the property sector.

What You'll Be Doing: 
  • Accounts Payable: Process invoices using Nexus, ensure timely payments, and manage supplier reconciliations.
  • Accounts Receivable: Assist with daily receipting, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Lease Administration Support: Assist in updating lease records, tracking rental payments, and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
  • Financial Reporting: Support P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial data.
  • General Administration: Provide ad-hoc support across finance and property teams, including data entry, reporting, and document management.
The Experience Checklist: 
  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable, with a solid understanding of financial processes and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Highly organised and proactive, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant qualification/certification s in Accounting/ Bookkeeping, Finance, or Business Administration is advantageous.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Nexus, MRI, Xero, MYOB, or SAP is beneficial.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial software to manage and analyse data efficiently.
