Merchandise Planner | Leading Fashion & Accessories Retailer 

Are you a commercially savvy and analytical Merchandise Planner looking to make an impact in a high-profile fashion retail business? This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity (with potential for extension) to join a market-leading retailer, driving key planning strategies across apparel and accessories.

Sitting within a high-performing Merchandise Planning team, this role is integral to ensuring the right stock is in the right place at the right time. You’ll manage stock forecasts, trading performance, and replenishment strategies, partnering closely with buying, supply chain, and retail operations to optimise inventory and maximise sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain sales, stock, and intake plans, ensuring availability meets demand.
  • Plan allocations, replenishment, and markdowns to drive optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor weekly sales performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with buying, marketing, and retail teams to align planning strategies.
  • Use SAP, Excel, and other retail planning tools to manage and improve stock processes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in merchandise planning or inventory management within a retail or wholesale environment.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Experience working across multi-category planning, ideally within apparel, accessories, and/or footwear.
  • Confidence in influencing stakeholders and making data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
