The Brand:
Our client is an established global retailer with over 20+ years of designing and producing their own brand and stocking the latest in hiking, camping, outdoor and adventure apparel. This is a fast-paced, high-volume retailer with 25+ stores across NZ. With a diverse and rewarding culture, it’s an exciting time to join this growing business as their new Assistant Manager!

The Role: 
As the Assistant Manager, you’ll have a passion for retail and be motivated to lead your team and the store to success: 
  • Coaching and developing the team to build their capabilities and unlock their potential.
  • Driving store targets and KPIs by motivating the team leading by example and driving culture
  • Supporting the Store Manager and overseeing and managing all store operations i.e. visual merchandising, stock, sales reports, rosters,
  • Supporting with HR Functions - Performance management, termination & recruitment
About You: 
We are seeking an experienced management candidate with:
  • Strong leadership experience and proven management experience 
  • A confident, resilient and outgoing personality!
  • High level and understanding and experience with retail operations. 
  • Provides exceptional customer service in a busy environment.  
  • Adaptable, flexible and can work well under pressure and work within a high volume and fast-paced business!
  • All Applicants must have full NZ Working rights (no sponsorship or VISA)
