We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee operations across several communities with the role based in Darwin. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in some of the most vibrant and remote communities in Australia.

About the role:

As Regional Manager, you will be responsible for leading store operations, financial performance, and community engagement across multiple locations. You will work closely with store managers and local stakeholders to ensure efficient retail operations, culturally appropriate business practices, and positive social impact.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the performance of five retail stores, ensuring profitability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and support store managers in achieving key business objectives.
  • Develop and implement retail strategies tailored to the needs of remote communities.
  • Monitor financial performance, budgets, and inventory management.
  • Foster strong relationships with Indigenous community leaders and stakeholders.
  • Drive staff training and development, prioritizing local employment opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food retail regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in multi-site retail management, preferably within supermarket or remote operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams.
  • Financial acumen, including experience in budgeting and P&L management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity in working with Indigenous communities.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to challenges in remote retail environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and spend time in remote locations.
